E 200 Avantgarde is a new E-Class variant that has also been assembled directly from the MBI plant in Wanaherang, West Java, "With the introduction of the new E 200 Avantgarde Line, we provide a solid product that blends luxury and elegant design with intelligent equipment such as Parking Pilot and wireless smartphone charging systems," said Kariyanto hardjosoemarto, MBI's Deputy Director of Sales Operations & Product Management.

A number of pre-eminent E-Class technologies remain dependable on this variant, including the Parking Pilot feature with PARKTRONIC and a reverse camera that makes it easier for drivers to parallel parking automatically.
Another mainstay of the E 200 Avantgarde is its ease in accessing smartphones through an infotainment system, where an integrated wireless charging feature is available. At the same time, smartphones (Android & iOS) will connect to infotainment systems that already have mirroring access.
Two-cylinder 2,000cc engine owned by E 200 Avantgarde powered 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque, along with an automatic 9G-TRONIC transmission
